KID(z) CITY is a creative program intended to support children and parents’ access to participation at the City from Below conference and to promote all ages interaction—with respect and equality. The City from Below believes that access for children, parents and childcare givers are an important part of any grassroots or community gathering.

Sorry for this ridiculously late change! We recently realized that, in fact, our childcarefrombelow@googlegroups.com e-mail for Kid(z) City was malfunctioning and nothing was getting through to us! We sincerely apologize for any conundrums this may have caused.

Dear City From Below Participant-Speakers,

Something that all of us volunteer crossing guards love about attending conferences/gatherings is that you often leave with amazing materials to peruse and share when you get home. We wanted to bring this idea into KID(z) CITY so we (and hopefully you!) will be producing a coloring/activity book for the residents and visitors of KID(z) CITY!

KID(z) CITY is a creative program intended to support children and parents' access to participation at the City from Below conference and to promote all ages interaction—with respect and equality. We recognize that the city is a structure that should serve its inhabitants (and not the other way around): KID(z) CITY will include a city of boxes to build or destroy one's own space. It will also include children’s workshops to explore nature in the city, sidewalks, and radical singing that will include a symphony of found and urban sounds.
